This is a story that comes to us from an anonymous source.ย
In the municipal building in Rochester, Pennsylvania, there is a considerable dialogue that takes place about the spirit of someone who used to work there. When the lights are turned off at night, at the top floor of the building, according to an eyewitness account, music could be heard playing loudly; but not just any kind of music. This is music from the 1940โs that none of the employees listen to. Municipal employees, police officers and managers all have heard โold timeโ music being played in the building. His presence is usually felt late in the evening or at night, especially when the police officers are the only ones in the facility. Reporting’s of suspicious sounds, heavy walking, and loud music continue to plague the building.ย
One of the employees related her findings to a fellow colleague and she insisted that the mysterious actions belong to a former employer whose name was Danny Chabot. Mr. Chabot was a janitor in this building in the 1940โs and was well liked and respected. Most of the paranormal activities take place in โRoom 6โ; this is where Mr. Chabot, presumably, likes to hang out. There is a museum in this building that contains memorabilia from early Rochester, Pennsylvania. It is purported that the ghost of Danny Chabot continues to walk the hallways, blasts his favorite music and makes other suspicious sounds that lets others know of his presence. ย Does anyone in Rochester, PA know of more stories?
